Proposal for,

Toys for Boy's

Hello Kevin, here is a proposal on the Toys for Boys event. Hopefully setting out along the guidelines and principals of food for thought / blueprint you sent me. Thank you.

I will address the overall vision in point form as the questions you sent me in that order
.

. Objective, purpose

1. Objective
: To put together all the great minds in the body of Christ that represent the various institutions of education, science, adventure, sports, technology, arts and science, drama theater, music and entertainment to name a few. Create an exhibition to present and display these in a format that would attract large groups of people. Hopefully make it a seasonal event, as God adds increase.

2. Purpose:
For people to come and experience and enjoy along with festivities in celebrating the wondrous, gifting, talents and abilities, God has blessed us all with.

How it lines up with the five guiding principals of pursuing God, Relationships, Missions Generosity and Simplicity.

Pursuing God:
Blessing God back by using the talents He's given us, moving in the gifts he's fashioned and furnished us all with. With gratitude demonstrating as a living testimony, of the great love and compassion He has for us through Jesus

Pursuing Relationships:
Build community around these attractions where comradely and the very knowledge of one another could create and explosion of excitement and activity where a breeding round exists to expound and create an attraction where people could participate and experience life at a level of enjoyment that they perhaps have never experienced before. For people in our city that are burdened, the poor and lowly that lack of, even enthusiasm or the ability to afford in perusing any of these institutions most of us enjoy, we can offer them............., Most of us, in part can relate to a pit of despair state of mind, where a large percentage of our population is incarcerated or in mental institutions or the person on the street who's demise is a result of broken dreams and crushed ambitions. or because they were robbed or missed out on the opportunity to socially connect.........., The lowly will be lifted high, the gift goes on.....,. This is one of our primary callings.

Pursuing Missions. Build connections in the market place and attract people in the community in and around CSC and invite them to this event. Plant and water seeds. Create a Market Missions field connect website. A information shepherds guide type booklet where access to and who are facilitating these various institutions we represent. Have it updated and improved annually, via Internet broadcasting and membership......, where members of various communities in our city can promote and advertise this event annually and expand as we grow.. I have in-visioned, The worlds Greatest Fair ( as God would have it )

Pursuing Generosity. The event, being a free attraction. We can invite the surrounding community. With the BBQ as a fund raiser. Build a Treasury that would contribute to those, say single mothers who cannot send their children to camp or any the events we present. This would allow them to go. Or the disenfranchised to experience life as a journey again. Experience adventure education, ministry,etc..............., I want to emphasize the fact that we are all diamonds in the rough, though some shine brighter than others, But for those that have never experienced the freedom we have through Christ Jesus. Through our giving and participating, in creating this attraction we can literally help God set hearts a fire, as a result of our kindness. Jesus did say we would do exploits and come up w/ witty inventions and ideas to the glory of the Father, and make us a blessing.

Pursuing Simplicity.
Keeping God in the center, focusing on the abundance of His love and great compassion He has for us and in return paying it forward with a grateful heart, knowing that through Christ, we are fully equipt to fulfill the great commission partly in through what we've been blessed with, and use whatever tools or means He has called us to, in accomplishing the callings on all of our lives...

3. What actions do I need to get there. What action steps need to be fleshed out? Write them down.

I have spoken to dozens of professionals, novests, hobbyists, on this Idea and asked them what their thoughts were and their consideration on being part of it. I've had a couple critics, which is good. But much support and enthusiasm and curiosity in around this Idea.

. My motivation for wanting to have this event is. A desire in taking which is there already and presenting it with the purest intentions, with the love and passion of how God first intended for us to use it. Opportunity for the body of Christ to shine the light and bless our congregation, our city with the goodness of God
.

4.

What resources are needed to achieve this vision? (human resources, space, equipment, $) Have you created a budget?

Human resources:
Mobilize IRONMEN Ministries @ CSC to represent and help in setting up/ tear down. Security, BBQ.. I suggested John Naud be the D.J and play some great contemporary Christian music and highlight the different events that are going on, play by play. I've spoken to several musicians for live music, offer prizes. And of course live demonstrations of the exhibits and direct contact information. Create an atmosphere , not a trade show type, ( because its not) but as a festival of celebrating in its purest form possible, as God first designed it for us to enjoy. The slogan at the men's retreat a couple years ago really caught my attention and my heart says, A man that is fully alive is a man that is fully engaged, In his Church, family, community, business, etc.

For space
: The Church atrium was suggested and possibly the pavement and grassy area on the south entrance to start. For the BBQ, kayaks, by- plane, paragliding > (grounded) , sailboat, climbing wall, outback tent, scuba diving exhibit, cash GPS, Christian bikers,etc.. Out door events. Etc.

For the budget:
We can, make the entre a nominal fee for the exhibitors and in turn purchase food and rent the BBQ, burgers, smokies, and vegi,................., I wanted to do some half fatted cows, or moose, real potatoes and veggies, homemade pie and ice cream. Really woop it up!~ Maybe next time.

5. The ministry plan.
: If we are given a green light I will assemble a “committee” whose purpose will be to plan the event, and recruit volunteers to help before, during and after the event. I have asked for help in the planning advertisement, sign painting w/ title and possible logo (suggestions appreciated), budget, key action steps that need to be taken. Creating a agenda for the times exhibitors will be doing their presentations.

Thanks Kevin, Ray Cot'e
